Jane’s ceramic bowls and dishes reflect the rock pools and coastal waters of Pembrokeshire where she lives. She hand forms her pieces uses a semi-porcelain clay that has a very white body when fired. She then bubble glazes them with turquoise, amethyst, greens and oxide blue, adding gold and silver leaf to the insides or edges for a touch of preciousness.
Her "Sea Cauldrons" are hand built from a white stoneware clay,  adding barnacles and shells with touches of gold , and are again bubble glazed to resemble rockpools formed by the sea.

In response to the wild coast of Pembrokeshire, Janes paintings are expressive and semi -abstract, often incorporating collaged elements. These artworks express the joy, and deep connection she feels with the coast, exploring both landscape and seascape through paint, often adding elements of poetic language both within and alongside her creations.
