Carol Brinton Thomas
Carol discovered clay and all its fascinating qualities while at Art College learning how to paint, and so has been following both disciplines all her life.
"Living in Pembrokeshire has inspired me, there is so much beauty, often I abstract what I see so as to capture the essence and the mood of the moment, and the scene. Most of my ceramic ware is hand thrown on the potters wheel, and then I may apply a symbol, a flower or a scene in relief. I am constantly experimenting with new glazes and styles of decoration."
Carol's pottery can be found at many of the exhibitions with the Pembrokeshire Craft Makers, as well as in other craft displays and in art and craft galleries throughout the county and in major towns in Wales.
